Place at Taylorville Art Show

The Taylorville Area Arts Council Seventh Annual Young Artist Showcase was held March 6, 2010, in the Dining Hall of Manners Park, in Taylorville. This Art Show showcased young artists’ works from surrounding towns in grades 6^th – 12^th Grades. 

 The artists from Central A & M Middle School 8^th Grade who won ribbons are: First Place Ribbon winner: Ashley for her Paper Mache Disco Design Sculpture; Second Place Ribbon winners: Jessica for her Clay Pitcher, Kendra for her Paper Mache Palm Tree Sculpture and Tanner for his Japanese Clay Box; Third Place Ribbon winners: Kelsie for her Clay Flower Box and Sidney for her Clay Coil Animal Cup.

Other 8^th Grade Artists whose works were also on display and received Participation Ribbons are: Zachary, Brenna, Jade, Mathew, Larissa, Brittany, Casey and Abbey.
