| 40 Points | Minimum of 4 pages typed. Only 30 points given for minimum. 37 or more points you will need 6 to 7 pages of good information. Avoid using LONG paragraphs. Black ink only for body of the paper. |
| 10 Points | Neatness: double spaced, 12 or 14 font, MLA style preferred |
| 15 Points | Sources: minimum of 3 sources, 2 of which must be books in physical book form. Only 5 points will be given if just 3 sources. You will need 5 or more sources to get all 15 points. No more than 1 encyclopedia of any type. |
| 10 Points | Works Cited page required. It must be done in correct MLA style. Without a works cited page no points will be given for this section as well as documentation. |
| 15 Points | Creative: You will need several different types of creative works to get all of the points. Examples: pictures, diagrams, models, maps, drawings, timelines, video, music, posters, artifacts, charts, etc. |
| 10 Points | Documentation: All information needs to be documented, where did it come from? Use the authors last name and page at the end of the paragraph. Each paragraph needs to be documented. If the information is not in your note card then you cannot use it. |
The final score of this paper will be multiplied
by 5 for a total value of 500 points possible. If the paper does not meet the
minimum length requirement then no points will be given for the entire paper.
There will be no late papers. Papers may be turned in any time before the
last possible date.
