The Library/Media Center of Central A&M High School Library is located in the center of the high school with easy access to all areas of the curriculum. The mission of the library/media center is to support the teachers and students of Central A&M in their pursuit of knowledge as it applies to the curriculum of our school.  Mr. Hawley, the librarian, is always ready and available to help any teacher, student, or parent in  their quest for information and knowledge.

The high school library needs more copies of titles from class reading lists.  If you have copies in good, clean condition which you would like to donate, please contact Mr. Hawley (khawley@cam.k12.il.us   or phone 768-2137).  Click here for a list of titles.  If you get a box asking for log-in and password, click cancel.

GRANTS: Last year the school library was a collaborative partner with the Moweaqua Public Library on the Mining More in Moweaqua grant.  Click on the grant to see the results. The InSync Grant has given Central A & M new technology such as the smart boards and has provided teachers with the training to use the new equipment.

During 2010 we  participated in ILEADU through an Illinois State Library grant funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  This web portal, Rural Adapt, provides information, resources, and a place for you to create content related to adapting to changing economic situations.
