SADD sponsored the 10th annual "Pumpkin Decorating Contest". Click here to see all the pumpkins and winners.
The purpose of SADD is to reduce the number of alcohol related crashes.
We further believe that:
The use of alcohol and other drugs is self-defeating.
Driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs endangers our lives and the lives of others.
We endanger our lives when we ride in a vehicle with a driver who is under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.
Our actions have a significant effect in creating positive change.
More than 10,000 schools and organizations across the country celebrate Red Ribbon Week each October. On October 23 through the 31st red rubber bracelets are worn. Red Ribbon Week activities this year included Red Day, Sucker Day, the pumpkin carving contest, and the costume competition.
SADD sponsored the all-school ice skating and pizza party on December 8th with Spanish Club and Student Council.
Six times a year, SADD has "Free Pop Fridays". Those who are members of SADD get a free pop.
This year we have a big number of students who enrolled in SADD. There are 10 freshman, 20 sophomores, 31 juniors, and 34 seniors enrolled.
